Positive Grid BT pedal allows you to control your mobile guitar effects, keyboard presets and music sheets - all wirelessly. ![]() The BT Pedal Editor is an application for Positive Grid BT-4 and BT-2 Bluetooth MIDI Footswitch. I will continue to keep updated if anything comes up.NOTE: PLEASE UPDATE YOUR BT4 PEDAL TO LATEST FIRMWARE. The other 2 keyboards seem to be the 'o' key and one with 'k' key. Including any shift keys in that row, number pad excluded. The 2 out of the 4 keyboards have the 'q' row and 'z' row of keys not working. All 4 keyboards I tested had 'o' malfunctioning. I will take this post down if needed, thanks!Įdit: After some testing on my Linux computer, it would seem that the keys have a certain pattern of malfunction. I did not see anything about firmware being compromise unintentionally in the agreement. Also, I am not sure if this is breaking any EULA. They figured that since I was majoring in Computer Science, it would probably do more good for me to try to fix the keyboards than a group of Electrical Engineers attempting to figure it out all day. I am currently not sure where to approach this issue as not much info has been documented about this.įurther Background: I mainly took these keyboards as way to fix them. I am willing to do a lot of work in order to fix this as programming and computers are a hobby of mine. I have no experience with hacking and exploitation, however.Īt the end, if nothing can be done from Apple's end, is there a general direction that I can be pointed to in order to fix this problem? Either manually reverse exploiting or posting in another possible forum, etc. I am able to do some programming/memory location looking though I will only do this as long as it is legal to do so. ![]() Would that help alleviate some potential damages the keyboard can produce while I try to fix this issue? I also do not have a Mac, though I could probably obtain one at school if needed. I currently have Windows and Linux (Fedora) as a platform that I can work with. I wondering if there was anyway in order to fix this problem from Apple's end? Or is there a program I can run to fix this, like a reverse exploit? I have yet to attempt to plug in these keyboards in fear that they have the capability to upload malicious code and further infect other programmable apple keyboard devices.Īfter some researching, it turns out that some Apply Keyboards seem to have 7 or so kilobytes worth of memory inside. This was probably due to time constraints and lack of keyboards for classes. They were willing to give them to me as they ordered a brand new batch of keyboards to use. Some one must have took the time to exploit the keyboards in school in order to create non-functional keys. What the college has concluded was that the keyboards seemed to have their flash memory injected with malicious code. I got them from my college as they have a whole box of these keyboards that seemed to "malfunctioned". I recently have some issues regarding the Apple Aluminium Keyboards I have received. ![]()
